Beta list privacy notice
Who we are
Aflan is run by the company behind Aflan, a company in the United Kingdom. We decide how your beta list details are used. To ask anything, or to be removed, email hello@aflan.app.
What we collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your mobile number and its country, only if you choose to give it.
- That you ticked “I'm 13 or older.” and “Email me when a space opens for me on the Aflan beta, and text me too if I've given my number. Beta and launch news only, and I can ask to be removed any time.”, with the time you joined.
We don't ask for your birthday, and we don't use cookies or trackers on this site. To stop robots, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser when you open the form; it isn't used for advertising.
Why we use it
Only to tell you when a space opens for you on the Aflan beta, and when Aflan launches. We use your details because you agreed to it (your consent), and you can take that back at any time by emailing us. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Ages
Aflan is for people aged 13 and over. If you're younger, please don't join. If we learn that someone under 13 has joined, we delete their details.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare runs this website and the robot check.
- Resend sends your entry to our inbox as an email. It keeps a copy in its logs for up to 60 days.
- Google Workspace holds our inbox, where your entry is kept.
These companies may handle your details outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, they're bound by the UK's approved safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Until 3 months after we've told you Aflan has launched, and never more than 24 months from when you joined. If you ask to be removed, we delete your details straight away.
Your rights
You can ask to see your details, correct them, have them deleted, or stop us contacting you. Email hello@aflan.app. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
